Pac by decision. Kostya could jab all fight and had a monster straight right, so I don't see pac going in for the kill.
Tszyu would have timed him coming in with a right and good night!! Just finished reading KT's book, his training methods in Russia were crazy. Running 20 miles in the snow bearfooted to build up his resistance to pain and the worst was his coach made him raise a family of chickens from birth for 3 weeks, then his coach returned and gave him a knife and said "Kill Them All". He said this showed him how to kill inocent animals for no reason, so he had no problems clubbing a guy to death in a boxing fight!! KT by KO early
you 'feel' that way but truth is tszyu has never been in with a mosley, floyd, de la hoya or pacquiao, his best win is zab judah, he hasn't got a superstar win. too many what ifs when discussing tszyu, he's like 'prime' mike tyson who's supposed to beat everyone and lose to no one.
truly a tough pick. kostya was one of my favorite fighters and he was truly a scary mother****er. with an east european face (cant really be sure if he is white or asian) and awesome power, he was quirky in the sense the he was one if not the first fighter from that region to be successful in the world stage. i know. i know. he fought out of australia but he is east european by training and ethnicity. a pac UD or kostya win via KO.
His grandfather was also Korean, that explains his strange appearance when compared to other Russians. I think the only thing Australia about him was his Coach Johnny Lewis, and im Aussie :good
I like Pac by decision. I see Kostya landing his big right, but also taking a lot of leather to get it. He really liked his power. I think he liked it too much, and would end up losing this one because of it.
His grandfather migrated to the Soviet Union from Korea to escape the brutal treatment, too bad the Soviet Union wassent much better. He would have had to been the only Korean Mo-Fo in the whole of the Soviet union at the time!!
really, that explains it. tough mofo with his little tied up hair swinging like a cheetah tail as he was punishing his opponent. i don't know if he still wears that hairstyle now, but his weird look kinda added to his menacing demeanor, little tyson in the ring.
can some of you guys post pics of his previous fights? i don't recall seeing him win against zab really, was buried in uni studies then I think.
