Cintron UD, you guys may hate him because he's a ***** but he's quite a decent fighter with some real pop. Lara's gonna get tagged for the first time by a real big puncher and become hesitant. But give it 12 to 18 months and I start siding with Lara.

 

I hope Lara gets a fight with one of these guys - he's clearly ready for a step up and if he can beat Cintron, it'll show that he's ready for anyone.

I thought Vanes would be more likely. He's been talking trash about every top junior-middle and since he's seemingly struggling to get a big fight, this would have worked out for both of them. Cintron is a bigger opportunity though - he has a name and a victory for Lara would really put him on the map. Considering how most fans feel about Kermit, a Lara win would also get him a lot of love from the fans!

Tough fight but I think Lara takes the decision.

 

This would be an extremely tough fight for Lara. I for one hardly gave Paul Williams a single round up to that odd situation, maybe one, but Cintron was winning. IMO he'd give Cotto all he could handle or even beat him, very underrated fighter. Lara looked great lately, but it'd be a monumental step-up vs. one of the best LMWs in the world, I'd rather see him fighting a K9 first.

 

They try to use Cintron as a gatekeeper but he is not cooperating recently . I would make a fight with Julio he is the gatekeeper in the division

I can't see Cintron taking this fight - it's more of a backwards step for him.

Lara is just better at everything Cintron does. People talk about Cintrons punch but it really does not matter because Cintron is more of an outside fighter. Lara is going to be the best outside fighter in the game soon.
If Cintron had a good inside game then he would have a chance since thats where Lara is lacking but he does not so i thin its fair to say Lara schools Cintron. I think Cintron would be too tentative after eating some punches from Lara so it would go 12.

 

Looking at it like this I would now love to see this fight. If Cintron can get that fire in his belly I can't see him losing to anyone other than Margarito and Martinez at 154.

 

A very good match-up. If Cintron can get his weak mind right, he'll give Lara a good fight, being that Lara hasn't faced this level of opposition. A well focused Cintron will take Lara to the final bell. If we get the cry baby Cintron that's always complaining during fights he'll get taken out around the 6th or 7th.
