You thought it was a punch you dont normally see ?

Tell me do you normally see boxers..

knock out guys after they stand with hands behind their back?

    middleweights fight at HW??

lead off and throw sometimes 5 left hooks

abandon the jab and win with easy ?

Roy Jones was not normal and that was in no way a fluke what are you smoking man ?

Roy did not fight all the greats he could. He fought Hill,Toney and Hopkins, but he never really looked for the great challenges. Beating Ruiz is not like beating Lennox, who was the real champion. I am a person who sees how good Roy was, but I also see that Roy like Floyd avoided great challenges.

Hold on before i watch the fight again i have to say something...

Shut your Russian ass up. The reason why I watched this fight in the first place was because I knew there was no way Virgil Hill could have lost 118-110 against Dariusz and I was right it was much closer. Another reason was to see how much Virgil had left as a fighter because some say on this forum that Hill was shot when Jones faced him...ridiculous. I like to think i'm one of the sane Roy Jones fans on this forum. I never make ridiculous statements about Jones, I'm mostly unbiased. You have people like jkdking or whatever who is always sucking Jones dick, I don't think there has been a post by him where he hasn't mentioned Roy Jones. Obviously theres plenty other **** swallowing Jones fans on here but i'm not one of them.

As for the Michalczewski/Hill fight I thought it was close. I would like someone else who hasn't seen the fight before to watch it and post your scorecard please. I would rather it be a person not from Europe because most of you are biased towards Euros. But if Addie or Popkins can watch teh fight that would be great, they are very unbiased unlike the rest of you.

Also, judging by the way Dariusz looked in the Hill and Griffin fights Dariusz would have been knocked out by Jones, no doubt about it.

Everyone has their bias Bodyhead...by pretending you dont, you arent really helping your case.

Pretty clearly you were looking to score the fight for Hill. Hill threw more punches early on but wasn't outlanding DM by any significant margin. His jab was often falling short or hitting DM's guard a lot..Plus everytime DM landed you could see Hill's head snap back and the force and quality of the punches were much better.

Most rounds were highly competitive but DM won that quite clear and Ive never heard anyone say otherwise.

i said i'm mostly unbiased, sometimes yes i am biased, but most times i am not.

Anyways here is my scoracard after 6.

    Hill/Dariusz

    1. 10-9, Hill clearly.
    2. 9-10, Dariusz clearly.
    3. 10-10, even round, Dariusz was landing the bigger shot but Hill was busier.
    4. 10-9 Hill edges it by being busier.
    5. 9-10 Even round up until the point deduction, Dariusz takes it.
    6. 10-9, Hill edges it again.

    58-57 Hill.

I haven't even glanced at the scorecard i posted yesterday, and i don't even remember it. I will look at it agin after i'm done watching.

after ther 10th round i have it...

    7. 9-10 Dariusz clearly. Most dominant round for him so far.
    8. 9-10 Dariusz.
    9. 10-9 Hill. Also Dirty Dariusz landed at least 4 rabbit punches in this round.
    10. 9-10 Dariusz.

    96-95 Dariusz.

    2 rounds to go.

I went and a had a look again at rounds 5 and 6, just for the **** of it. So we can score it together.

IMO DM won the 5th clearly and deserved a 10-8, with the point deduction...which was pretty hasty from the ref but thats the way it went down.

Hill was pretty busy in the 6th but landed nothing of note, mostly pawing with his shots at this stage. DM landed the much harder and cleaner shots, and I dont think it was one of those rounds where you can either go for one guys volume over the others quality..Hill just wasnt landing that much more if at all.

I really gotta say dude you seem to be willing the rounds to Hill so in an around about way you can make Roy look better for knocking him out.

    11. 10-9 Hill. You could possibly score it for Dariusz though.
    12. 9-10 Dariusz.

115-114 Dariusz is my final scorecard.

116-113 is a good reasonable scorecard as well though.

edit: yea man you are right about Round 6 had to go back again and watch jesus christ stop making me watch this ****. Anyways ya Dariusz deserved it.

Round 5 was even can't sway me there.

so 116-113 it is. So Dariusz did win comfortably.

since we are still in topic Dariusz has a pretty poor Light Heavy resume...

    Virgil Hill
    Graciano Rocchigiani x 2
    Montell Griffin

I mean out of 48 wins, that's all you have? damn that's very poor.
