Is Alvarez really THAT big of a puncher?

    He deserves credit for what he done to Baldo and he obviously has some power but that doesn't mean he has tremendous one punch power. Clottey, May, Judah and Forrest where fighting a prime Baldo and none of them have one punch concussive power.

    I think he has good power that will improve with age but he will never be a full on one punch knock out merchant.

    You're a hypocrite.

    On one hand you're saying that no one can say that he WILL be a p4p champ, and I agree, but then on the other hand you're saying he will NEVER have one punch power.

    Newsflash! in order to KNOCK out one of the best chins you need to have 1 punch KO power.

    Now with his style, he may not always utilize the one punch KO pwer, but it is there.....

    speaking of knocking fighters dead....have u even seen canelo's past fights??

    you should see how those guys ended up after canelo KO'd them...

    I don´t think he is. Mostly a case of meeting a battle worn, older fighter that is extremely easy to hit. A fighter like that is always going to be taken out eventually, the chin couldn´t be there forever. Decent puncher but in all his previous fights I never saw huge power.

    This is how I feel. The Baldomir KO was a bit misleading IMO.
