Round 3 - HOLY S**T (!) Cotto almost KO'd Pac (Video)

No, he wasnt hurt. It gave him a moment of pause thats all, stopped him in his tarcks, but not hurt. Pacquiao is such a well conditioned fighter that he takes punches very well. Cotto just couldnt deal with the speed, as most fighters can not. Margarito will have trouble dealing with his speed and finding him unless he is able to punch between Mannys punches and find the openings, and Manny does leave himself open a lot. i do think that Margarito is a little bit mentally tougher than Cotto when fighting an elite fighter.

 

WTF?! I watched that twice at 1:27 looking for this 'almost KO' and all that happened was Cotto tagged him with a good shot, which stunned Pac for a second. He didn't even almost go down, let alone almost get KO'd. He got tagged. The end. NOTHING like what happened with Mayweather.

Up until Cotto 'lost his head' and tried to combat Pacquiao's speed with wild swinging...he was having a little success. It would have been more competitive if he hadn't 'lost his head'. Pacquiao wins regardless.

No doubt they make decent money out of it though...some fans would buy/try out anything they bring out. (especially with Pacquiao in the Phillipines)

 

Its actually quite freakish how he took cotto's shots. Pacquiao got his damn ear drum busted from those left hooks. The hook is cotto's best weapon. Cotto has affected lots of fighters with his power and this was a former flyweight in there.

 

He didn't even came CLOSE to ko'ing him with that shot:roll:atsch Pac went right at him after taking it. Talking about exaggerating. Jeez.
