How is Glenn Johnson looking???

I have to laugh at all of you writing Alan Green off. I am a fan of Johnson but IMO this is a very bad match up for him. Green is too strong for him. Green's style is all wrong for Johnson and Johnson's style is perfect for Green. You are all making a ready excuse for Johnson after he loses.

 

I think its the other way around man. Johnsons style is terrible for Green. Johnson is a grinder.
Green is a boxer puncher who needs his opponents to fight his fight. So that would be a mid range to outside fight. I also dont think Green has the power to trouble johnson.

 

I think Green has the power to trouble anyone and Glencoff has never been that hard to find or hit. Green has always had trouble with boxers with good foot speed. That is not Johnson.

 

Miranda was not fast he was just a brawler. Johnson is better than Miranda.

How do you think this fight will play out?

 

Green was very ill in the Miranda fight. He should never have taken that fight. Even still as sick as he was he held his own and had his moments in that fight. I still think Green is only 75% of what he use to be but I think he will break Johnson down and stop him. Bold prediction but I think Johnson at this point is around 60% of what he use to be.

 

He has been steadily declining....

 

I have mad respect for Johnson though and if he wins I would not complain. I think Green is close to being shot. Which is sad because he once was a good fighter and contender. I think Green's problems are as much mental as physical. He has lost confidence in himself. That in itself may give Johnson an edge.

 

When is the weight in ?

 

if johnson doesnt come in drained, i predict the blue collar fighter to outwork green to a unanimous decision. green will get frustrated after the mid rounds of unsuccessfully beating down johnson and lose interest in the fight... as usual
