How in the hell was Wlad not in his peak against Corrie Sanders?

You know it to be false, thats why its haunting you.

You know Wladimir as he stands today would destroy Corrie.

    A) He is not Mayweather, Dawson, Hopkins.

    B) He is bending the knees and crouching forward when now he has been trained to stand upright to maximise a longer reach, and it's easier to bend away from punches i.e. protect the chin.

    C) The jab is critical to Wlad keeping his distance. Why bend forward into their range with a paw, when you can throw a fully extended jab to keep your distance and throw counter rights as they come in.

    D) Carrots are rich in vitamin A

You do realize that Wlad's much tallented brother had to absorb some serious shots to put away Sanders.

What makes you think an incredibly cautious Wlad is going to..wait......hold up.......DESTROY...Sanders?

Sanders will eventually corner Wlad and beat the **** outta him. He won't be able to simply clinch Sanders, and Wlad's defense of simply backing up in a straight line won't work either. He'll get picked apart and beat up.

When he was more athletic and could bend his knees, he had a better chance.

Wlad was at his peak, he stepped into the ring with a real man that night, The Sniper put him to sleep like tucking in a child.

Hendo is a fllamer but I'll put him in his place...............

First of all Wladimir didn't beat Jameel McCline by UD it was a TKO.

Secondly, Wladimir wasn't in his prime back then because his only real defense was his very potent offense. He didn't know how to deal with pressure and he had a tendency to throw too many punches too early in an attempt to KO the opponent. When the KO didn't happen against Ross Purrity, he had nothing left in the tank to keep Ross off of him. The Corrie Sanders fight was just an example of him not knowing what to do when tagged with a big punch or a series of them.

Even Corrie has acknowledged the fact that Wladimir has made some drastic improvements and changes since their bout. Wlad had dissected a fair few southpaws since his last loss, Chagaev, Ibragimov, Thompson, Byrd. None of them even came close, and Corrie as we all know doesn't have the greatest sets of whiskers himself. He'd run out semi-aggressive like in the fight, Wladimir wouldn't walk straight onto his golf swinging left like he did due to lack of focus.

I think ou should watch Toughman competions where 2 bouncers unload punches on each other with little technique in an effort to see who can land a lucky punch first.

Face it, you don't like Wladimir & it pisses you off that no one can outbox him. He KO's all your saviours & it's eating away at you. It's okay, grab a box of Kleenex & a bag of chips you stupid ****......................

Why don't we just name some left hander off the street and then say Wlad beat him too, because that's where it ends in as far as how much they have in common with Corrie Sanders.

Start with Byrd, a light punching, dwarfed in height and size, tried to pressure Wlad which was not his style in the second fight. Wlad had nothing to worry about because he knew that Byrd had no punch and he could walk right through him.

Chagaev. A standard Kessleresque style of fighter that didn't turn on the aggression like Kessler did against Froch and chose to box his typical fight by standing right at Wlad's range and trying to lunge foward with left hands. A simple, amateur style that had no chance against an opponent like Wlad who is relatively quick footed and very hard hitting.

Ibriganov had a reputation of having a modicum of power, so Wlad fought scared for his life in a fight that was so bad that Wlad was banned from HBO. The only reason Wlad won that fight is due to his superior size.

Thompson? A tall, scared to fight, light punching southpaw with no skills.

    Your arguments are garbage.

Wlad's style now is to protect his chin at all costs. He fights guys that have no idea how to fight him and typically can't, and he doesn't have the athleticism he did in the past as he is not in his athletic prime.

Corrie would pin him against the ropes, catch Wlad going back with his chin in the air, hit him with a left hand, put him down, then Wlad would go in panic mode. Game over.

What do you see in Wlad now that could handle the Corrie Sanders that assaulted him when they fought?

UH...he has a new trainer and he's beat up some nobodies...

Hey, you can call him too green I guess against Ross Purity, but I'm sorry, a guy with a 39-1 record with 34 knockouts, coming off his best win with the media behind him, and your correction that he knocked out McCline...

    There is NO EXCUSE.

He lost at his best. Deal with it.
