Which Promoter Would You Want as a Fighter?

Golden Boy is still on the rise! I'll take Oscar over any promoter today.

 

This. DiBella seems like a geniune, down to Earth human being who cares about his fighters. I want someone like that representing me.

 

Sauerland. I'd be shameless too. I'd make Sven Ottke look like a road warrior who never got a break in his entire career.

Sauerland may be a real snake, but by and large he only screws the other fighter, and like he says, he 'gets his fighters TV deals'.

 

Top Rank, huge paydays and in house fights against cans. Arum is a great liar as well and would cut me some dirty money under the table.

 

DiBella for sure, he cares about his fighters and he's not always trying to put his own fighters against each other like top rank and Goldenboy, yet he still gets them their shots. GBP is sneeky, Oscar fixes fights, the right people win but he'll set up a split decision to make it look like a close loss, i.e. Diaz vs. Katsidis and Katsidis vs. Escobedo. Also I believe he was trying to launch Sergio Mora as a elite fighter against SSM, but Shane won and they salvaged a draw for Mora. He also clearly had Caiz on his side for Ortiz vs. Maidana, Victor quit and Caiz tried to make it look like he stopped it because of the cut to save some pride. I know I should want to fight for a promoter who tries to save you the mental anguish of a bad defeat but I just find it underhanded.

I'm going with DiBella for the same reasons others have pointed out.

 

I'd go for the promoter who can make fights happen most of the time. GBP.
