The way Williams got outboxed is embarrassing. It's good he knocked him out in the second fight, because I think Quintana would have outboxed him again. The way he consistently blocked Quintana's punches with his face was just terrible. Im amazed he actually has just one lost.

it's not really embarrassing. You win some and you lose some.

And people think this guy would beat Mayweather and Pacman!

    It's embarrasing.

Williams is a stylistic nightmare for little Cotto. He would be on him all night until Cotto takes a knee again and quits.

    That's quite dumb.

    Williams would smash Cotto.

For someone with the physical tools that Williams has it's shocking how badly he uses his natural advantages

Yep. I said this pre-Quintana and it's true to this day. I'd actually be interested to see Williams vs. Quintana III. Williams got a good stoppage in the rematch, yes, but he still got outboxed in the first one. A quick knockout often tells us very little.

styles make fights and Quintana was big enough and skilled enough and trained hard enough to beat a prime Paul Williams at welterweight.

I think Williams got a little full of himself, believed his own hype, and took Quintana way too lightly. He fought like an idiot.
