Davis is just dancing in place, kicking his feet out in an Irish jig while Pryor glares a hole through him.

This is a bizarre contrast in body types.

Pryor is long and thin (6'5"), while Davis is a little tank.

    Round 1

Pryor Jr. is staying tall and jabbing tentatively, then leaning quickly away. Davis circles and jabs out of a crouch with his lead left low at his hip for quick release, using the shoulder roll to block incoming jabs. Davis clips him on the chin and Pryor becomes more careful about leaning away. Davis runs around him and jabs up to the head and straight to the body. Pryor jabs and Davis is quick enough to punch with him and land first (and harder).

    10-9 Davis

Both landed in a decent opening round. Pryor is huge. I dunno how he makes weight.

Doesn't seem to have that much muscle for his height though. But yea. Huge wingspan. He did much better in the second round.

    Round 2

Pryor throws a hard combo and quickly gets out of there. He's using constant movement and throwing in multiples, doing a much better job this round of neutralizing the speed of Davis. He gets caught with a big overhead left hook as he circles Davis. Pryor tries another hard combo (the double jab and hard cross that worked for him earlier) but misses as Davis swiftly ducks. Davis is popping jabs to the body but Pryor is doing well staying away from him. They jab together and sweat flies off the face of Davis. Pryor drops an arm on the back of his neck and pushes down while Davis tries to swarm in. Pryor continues to control him with his arms for the remainder of the round while Davis squirms.

    19-19

I mean he's not a skinny guy and he isn't ripped either. Both of these guys look like they are capable of KOing each other.

    Interesting subplot!!

Dyah Davis is the son of Howard Davis (who eliminated Aaron Pryor Sr. from the 76 Olympics!!)

    Round 3

Davis is no longer scoring with much but the jab to the body. His power punches are missing quite badly as Pryor uses careful (if not nimble) footwork and effective body leans. Pryor is punching at a high volume, and landing the right hand flush. Davis' rolling defense is only absorbing so much of the impact - some of these right hands are slamming down on him. Pryor keeps punching to the bell and Davis winds up clinching.

    Wow. Live underdog.

    29-28 Pryor

    Round 4

Pryor is using his jab well, by simply keeping the faucet pouring and keeping it lined up nice and straight as he backs up and steps laterally. Davis is just trying to sledgehammer him to the body from far out and hitting a lot of elbow and back. Davis steps in with a wild right handed slap to the face that is caught on Pryor's gloves. Pryor keeps moving away from all his power punches and when Davis reaches him they clinch very awkwardly due to the height difference and length of Pryor's arms. Davis lands a few uppercuts on the inside. They break and Pryor begins to jab him in the face. DAVIS STUNNED WITH A CHOPPING RIGHT HAND! They clinch and Pryor holds and clubs. Another really good right hands lands for Pryor.

    39-37 Pryor Jr.

Davis looking a bit disheartened against the praying mantisesque Pryor.
