I just discovered that Manny has the same reach as Miguel Cotto, 67, and Cotto hit Margarito at will. Manny is faster, more explosive and better condition than Miguel Cotto, and he has power in both hands and is a South Paw. Pacman is going to look like God, it is a perfect style match for him to look good. He can throw the straight left hand right up the middle on Marg all night, and the right hook can come right after to either the body or the head. Stylistically... this is a no contest.

I remember thinking Cotto was too big for Manny, then once they were in the ring it was clear that Pac has been cutting himself down a lot most of his career.

He's not that small. His frame can carry muscle.

Pac is gonna slaughter Marg dude.

The pac who threw 1200 punches against clottey is going to make Margo look like a weight drained DLH.

Exactly, I've said it once and I'll say it again: Even though he is short he has always been a stocky-esque fighter.

If you ignore the official weights and only look at unofficial you'll see he has been physically bigger than most his opponents since moving up into featherweight. I'm still not convinced he is a true welterweight (as most welters rehydrate well past 150lbs), but defintitely lightweight and possibly junior welterweight.

Yeah. That's why he was strong enough to KO barrera/morales and drop Marquez 4 times in fights.

He was the naturally bigger stronger guy, who happened to also be faster.

I wouldn't go as far as to say his size advantage was the primary reason for beating those guys, as it takes away his gameplan and skill abilities. However, no doubt it would be one of many reasons contributing to those wins.

Pac man is much stronger now than he was when he face De La Hoya IMO... his physical strength was noticebly improved against Cotto and Clottey

the thing people don't realise about Pacquiao is that his arm length is 25'' from armpit to fist. His wingspan isn't very impressive because he has a small frame, but 25'' is the same arm length as Shane Mosley.

The first time I noticed he has ****ing long arms is when he was popping Oscar with lead left hands from halfway across the ring. I mean yea his footwork allows him to close the distance, but his reach helps him as well.

The one factor people seem to forget about is...
Can Pac take what Cotto was able to?

Pac wont have to take what Cotto took. Pac is faster, will move in and out and beat Margo to the punch again and again. Plus Margo wont have bricks inside his gloves.
Pac is going to demolish Margarito. Hit him at will with both straight rights and the left hook and bust him up over 6 or 7 rounds before stopping him.
