Purrity was a much worse boxer than Carl Thompson. Thompson weighed the same as Haye when they fought. There was no size advantage for Haye over Thompson. However, Wlad had a MASSIVE size advantage against Brewster.

Haye was in his 10th pro fight and taking a massive step up. You all say Wlad was an inexperienced kid against Sanders when he was a 42 fight champ who'd already been KO'd. So why is Haye a bum for losing in his 10th fight?

Purrity had 13 LOSSES when he brutally stopped Wlad.
Sanders was KO'd 10 years before fighting Wlad by superstar ATG Nate Tubbs.
Brewster had been beat by 2 nobodies and had no big name wins when he devastated Wlad.

These men were bums. Accept it.

If you take away their brutal KO's of hype-job Wlad, Haye has already achieved much more than all three men did at HW. Also, if you have eyes you will see that Haye is a much better fighter.

Helenius has concrete feet and looks tailor made for Haye. Haye wins and it wouldn't even be close at this point.

Who the **** did they fight to prove anything?!?!? You're an idiot. In 3 HW fights Haye has beaten better opposition than Chambers and Ibragimov and the same guys as Chagaev but in much better style. Also, as I keep saying, anyone with eyes and boxing knowledge can see Haye is a better fighter than those guys.

Chagaev beat Valuev much better than Haye did!

And Wlad beats Chagaev! He is the legitim WBA Champion, not David Haye.

Wlad has 14!!! sucsessful defenses of his titles. He is the IBF/WBO/IBO and Ring Magazine Champion.

true,he is mouthy,he came to hw and mouthed all the champs off just to get a title shot asap,he got a belt now that was his goal so why risk it against fighting the klits.

David Haye got the gift from Sauerland and King!

Holyfield made a much better fight but did not get the decision in germany.

    That are the facts!

Haye is no Champion at Heavyweight.

The Guardian is spewing poo as usual. Nearly a million Haye-Valuev buys? 7 million for the Ruiz fight? Haye-Harrison open air fight, 15m!?!?!

    http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=1159439

"BARB figures for w/e 8 Nov show Sky Box Office Events had a weekly reach of 469,000.

I think Haye v Valuev was the only programme on this channel during that week. The channel normally has a weekly reach very close to zero (eg w/e 1 Nov weekly reach was 17,000).

So I think it's reasonable to conclude that the total audience (across all showings) for Haye v Valuev on Sky Box Office was very close to 469,000 (say approx 450,000).

However the number of PPV buys would obviously be much lower as on average there would be more than one person watching each TV.

If I had to guess I would say 250,000 to 300,000 PPV buys."

As for Haye-Ruiz, the idea that Haye made 7 million for that is hilarious. Did the MEN even sell out, and PPV figures will have been much worse than the Valuev "David v Goliath" fight.

Haye-Harrison, open air fight eh? Yeah, struggling to sell out the MEN. PPV figures should be OK I suppose.

No way has Haye earnt more than the Brothers Klit. The fact is whatever way you look at it Haye is the challenger to those two, offering him 50/50 is very reasonable especially if he can get them over to the UK.

Well done on being too ****ing ******ed to do your own research.

According to BARB figures and the forum poster you plagarised your argument from, Hatton-Pacquiao did approx. 150k PPV buys in the UK (off a weakly reach of 291,000). It was widely reported that that fight did close to 1mn buys in the UK.

What you need to understand dick-head, is that BARB takes a sample of households and ESTIMATES viewing figures. These are not real numbers and they seem to be a bad representation of actual PPV buys.

Here is a telegraph article posted in the same thread you copied and pasted from saying early indications were to Haye-Valuev doing up to 800k buys:

If you actually watched both fights You obviously have no idea what you're looking at. Chagaev stood in range, right in front of SNV and allowed himself to be repeatedly hit in the face without doing significant damage.

Chagaev has a much worse career resume than Haye and looked much worse against their common opponents. Your hatred of Haye is clouding your already limited judgement.

Uh, again, because he lost to a natural super middle. That they were the "weighed the same" when they fought is irrelevant, it was over tha man's natural athletic weight.

When you say things like Wlad was brutally KOd by Purity, it shows that you did not watch the fight and have no idea what you are talking about.

Bottom line- WladKlit is not capable of loosing to a blown up super middle like your man. furthermore, you don't really understand boxing. Fighters have bad nights, fighters improve or decline. Sanders, for example, used to come in out of shape, but his package of offensive skills was incredible.

You know nothing about boxing. Look at Haye's body then compared to now. He clearly picked up his one loss well below what you would call his 'natural athletic weight'. :rofl

Carl Thompson was not small for the weight in any way and never weighed in below LHW as a pro. He had moved up to cruiser by 1991 and fought Haye 13 YEARS LATER. Where did idiots like you come to the conclusion that his 'natural athletic weight' was 168!?!?!? How ****ing stupid are you to imply he wasn't a cruiser.

    :rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Wlad lost to a much LESS TALENTED boxer in Purrity. That is the key issue. Wlad has been beaten by very poor, out-of-shape and low-skill guys on 3 occassions. The are stone cold facts *****.
