Yep, they would get pissed off when these guys can't do what they could, so easily. Being a good teacher is not easy at all. It requires a lot of skills, such as being able to understand your fighter, being a good people person etc. It takes a special mentality to get across that knowledge. Something vital in being a good trainer is using a lot of painstaking repetition. That's what great fighters would struggle with, because as you say they did it without even thinking about it.
He already got one a year or two ago when he visited the Mayweather Gym. Even Roger May sparred with him.:blood

ive seen clottey on the offensive the man can move. because hes in a shell in alot of fights is a big misconsception of his offence. he gives away alot of fights because hes too defensive. like jeff mayweather said he gives away too many fights cause hes in defensive mode too often
Yea, I also agree not all greats would probably be the best teachers. some of the best trainers were not fighters but were smart enough to know what were a fighters strengths and weaknesses.
