Fingers crossed mate, ...but 'if i was a betting man', i'd probably say they'll screw you over. Just noticed, Celtic to score in both halves against Aberdeen is 20/21!! Again with totesport, other firms have this 8/15-8/11. If Ifel is playing in defence for aberdeen, this bet is more than likely a cert.
Litttle down right now dissapointed in Charlton drawing with one of the worst teams in the English Leagues, need Chelsea to win.
No sweat David. I have been tempted by the 13/2 on a Marquez stoppage for some time. I might go with that with a small stake. Dwyer is picking Rafa by stoppage if that means anything to anyone.
I've stuck £15 on Rafa stoppage @ 6's and a fiver on both fighters to go down @ 11/2. Odds are far too long
Almost too accurate! I fancied the Saffies against Ireland..... even though they've got the ability to beat the southern hemisphere sides (inc the Argies) they still don't have the belief. The Welsh forwards were outstanding against the Aussies, the World Cup is probably a year too early for them (again :-() We still have the same failings... quarter final exit for us next year.
I don't know. A lot can happen in 1 year. I think the WC next year is going to be very exciting. The ABs look far from unbeatable and they're pretty much playing at full tilt at the moment. Australia have one massive, obvious weakness. It looks like we'll play them in the QF and if we have a fit and healthy squad, I think we can put a gameplan in place to be able to beat them. Don't forget that these Southern Hemisphere teams are battle hardened after a tough Tri Nations. Us lot up here will get a few results in the next few weeks, I'm sure of it. The Saffers are there for the taking. England have finally found some backs. If you guys can find a world class 12, you'd be a right handful. Tindall is... well... he's not world class. Didn't see Ireland today but France are also around.
Yeah..... the All Blacks might be doing their usual and peaking a year early. Their scrum is average, we easily got the better of them there.... the French are better scrummagers than us. The Aussies are even worse, most Magners League teams have a better scrum than them, and for some reason they persist with the likes of Giteau and leave the better players on the bench. South Africa look alright, their pack is very good, especially in the lineout area but their back play lacks imagination. England..... I think we need Tindall to give a bit of a hard nose to the midfield, we've tried plenty of combinations in the past few years and none have worked. We need to stop making substitutions for the sake of making substitutions.... Johnson took off Cueto and the scrum half, both of which were doing fine - no idea why. The Welsh forwards are exceptional, well drilled, and led by the world's best #9 in Phillips. If only they had someone to compliment Williams and a non-injury prone top class full back......
The Welsh front 5 is good now... It's been a bloody long time coming though. It has been our weakness for a long long time. Now that we have that, we seem to be short in other areas. Our back row isn't really up there. We lack a presence, a big strong ball carrier like an Elsom or a Parisse. Half backs, Phillips is a threat. He is always sniping and creates space out wide by keeping the defence keen near the rucks. I would have liked to have seen Gatland give Dan Biggar the Autumn series. People say that he lacks the control at 10 that Stephen Jones has but I'm not even sure that Jones makes the most of many situations when he kicks. Jones is decent but Biggar is the chief understudy but is not being given games. In the outside backs, I think that we are lacking physical presence. Jamie Roberts will add that but he's a one-trick pony. Looked great in a midfield but he had the best centre in the world next to him. As I said, with a fit full strengh 15, we'll be a handful for everyone apart from NZ. But lack real quality outside of the front 5 and Phillips.
I don't rate Elsom...... he's like a lesser version of Charvis to me. He takes the ball static, either on the gain line or way behind, and is just asking to be turned over. Neil Back would be wishing he was ten years younger, he'd **** the kid IMO.
