Aye was there a bug going about the team today as well. The countries commentator I was watching it in said there was but I didn't see any reports on it. Obertan seems to be coming on alright I didn't like him through the middle today went missing a bit but when he moved to the wing he was good on the ball.

Fergie's been saying for a while now just how raw he is but today looked exactly as you said someone who can run fast being given the ball and told to play. There is going to have to be a lot of work put into him, the fact the reserves have stopped can't be doing him any favors either.

Will need Nani back for wednesday along with a new midfield.

I agree Obertan was acceptable today, one of the best players in an appauling team display. Think they're being harsh on him over on Redcafe, I'd give him a 7. Showed decent technique and passed the ball well, set up Hernandez nicely on the edge of the box, but as you say drifted in and out of the game. Potential, million miles better than Bebe.

Park, him and Fletcher were the only decent players really the first half was unbelievably bad.

Can we swap Bebe for Jarvis?

 

It takes a real moron to write off a player with no experience after what 5 games. Take into account he scored twice and played pretty well in that time.

 

I don't think he's played that well, he's scored a few fortunate goals. The point is, yes he's unbelievably inexperienced, and his technique is noway near ready for this level, which makes it even more surprising why we decided to buy him. We have better players out on loan and sold a better player to CSKA Moscow. There is no real logic as to why we bought him...

Obertan I do have hope for.

I doubt a lot of people expected Bebe to play as much as he has. The injuries to Valencia has put him into the spotlight whereas he wasn't even playing regularly for the reserves. He needs a couple of years that's for sure. However, he does have ok technique from what i've seen of him in the reserves. It's just that he's better at crossing low than high, which he over hits.

He's definitely not ready yet but he does have a bit of potential. He's scored more goals than Obertan, that has to count for something. And I agree, we shouldn't have signed him.

EDIT: you say about Tosic being better, that's true. The one i'm really disappointed with is Adem Ljajic.

 

I wouldn't say Bebe is a write off just yet, reminds me of when Obertan first showed up. Had the odd glimpse of looking decent but his end product was always off. He went into the reserves and started to find his feet hopefully when Bebe get the chance he can move into the reserves because I feel thats where he should be tuning his game at the minute not in front of the big crowd and media. The Mail will rip him to shreds tomorrow no doubt about that they have something against Fergie at the minute and they will use Bebe to **** all over him.

I thought Obertan played alright considering where he was and how the team was so disjointed. The midfield just couldn't gel it really took Scholes to get Fletcher going who I thought got the rest going. One thing Bebe done well today was probably his first or 2nd ball in he played it hard and low to Obertan on the outside of the box but he went with the wrong ball.

I don't go on Red cafe anymore I used to go there to talk about the reserves but everyone there was either a star of the future or shouldn't be playing football.

 

Just got in from the WWE. If you think the standard of reffing in boxing is poor you should see the wrestling!! Infraction after infraction missed by the refs, shocking!!
