The person I feel sorry for is David Gallop. The poor guy never has an off season and continually has to face the media and put on a brave face when the code is being dragged through a pile of ****.

 

Yeah you couldn't blame Gallop if he just went '**** this' and quit his job.

 

Why wld he quit a job paying over 1/4 million dollars a year??

 

Not saying he would, just saying he must get sick of the constant off field dramas that drag the game down.

 

I dont believe a former Souths coach has ever been charged with dealing drugs, & unless you've ever bought drugs of the man you accuse i suggest you are a bigger "tugger" than he is

What's so hard about Gallop's job?

He just sits back and waits to see what the club does in reaction to such incidents, then waits to see what the general public opinion to said action is, and if there is enough of an uproar, he'll step up and discipline the player and/or the club. He's a toothless tiger.

Besides, Monaghan's already quit the NRL, so Gallop doesn't have to do anything now, which is exactly what he's happy doing.

Monaghan will go to the UK for 1 season and be back with Canberra in 2012, once all the hoo ha has died down. It worked for Bird, Friend and Carney...
