Dawson certainly has similar power to Ward. But I'm not as sold on Ward as everyone else is. He's well-schooled, he's adaptable but he still leans in on the inside, is still a sucker for the uppercut and I still think a fighter who uses triples the jab will cause him major problems.

The movement and the jab will beat Johnson. But Ward doesn't have the height, reach or power to keep Glen off all night.

I see Ward winning, but expect some of the *****s in his armour will be exposed.

 

I dont think Froch and Abraham will be going in with the mindset of who they will want to face in the semis. Its a world title fight which is huge in its own rite,and neither will wanna lose 2 in a row going into a semi. Bad for confidence obviously.

I recall him getting knocked down. Green wobbled him briefly. Kessler caught him when he tripled the jab.

And the way Johnson, old and worn down, beat Green suggests Ward is not the all-round beast people think.

 

I'd love to see JuanMa progress to that super-fight with Gamboa but I really think Rafa is gonna break him.
