Gamboa, Lopez gets hit too easy. But like Janes said, boxing fans win in the end.

I still say it's a toss up but lately I've been leaning towards Gamboa.

Yes, Gamboa's had a few flash KD's but that doesn't mean he has a bad chin, same with how JuanMa was doing the Bernie against Mtagwa and how he was staggered in the 4th against Marquez.

Gamboa's defence has also improved greatly since he first started out.

I'm going to say Gamboa by decision with KD's on both sides. But it's still a toss up for me.

Gamboa by tko. He's more gifted, and punches more explosively. JuanMa's more disciplined, but he's chinny (not that Gamboa isn't). I just think the inate talent and power of Gamboa will win out. I'm a fan of both fighters, so I don't care who wins .

    So does Gamboa.

Juanma has something Gamboa has yet to display, heart.

Id want to see how big they are compared with one another.... face to face. I really am not sure, I want to go with Gamboa but he is just crazy flawed and comes apart easy, and I think Lopez's approach, if he has a bit of a size advantage, could give him trouble. But I still want to go with Gamboa  So.... I dont know.

He was right though, a fight between them last year or the year before that was premature.

I voted Lopez TKO/KO simply cos yes he has bn wobbled on a couple of occasions but he has proved his heart and willingness to grit down and win....

At this point I would pick Gamboa if I had to pick but I'm still undecided truthfully. Would be a hell of a fight.
