    True, when I thought someone was gonna go down from a severe shot it was always Juanma who was hurt. Yeah, Marquez took a hellava lot of punishment but those left hooks Marquez were landing had me thinking several times Juanma was done.

    Simply put Juanma is overrated . He just beat the older war-torn fighter tonight . Gamboa makes easy work of him when they do meet. Juanma gets too drunk from shots.

    :lol: Dont get to excited now...Mexico just took the "0" of the most succesful Puerto Rican in title fights Puerto Rican in Calderon, and made him take a knee IN Puerto Rico, y'all dont own ****. Congrats to Juanma, and the boricuas, y'all simply even the scored since we did take Calderons "0" and in more brutal fashion.

    Bunch of sore losers. it's a shame that y'all don't give props where they do. Rafa couldn't hold Lopez power. it was evident in the first round towards the end.

    respect to Marquez the best 118 pounder of my time, he has given me many great boxing nights.

    i picked juanma to win in the prediction thread...but honestly i couldn't of asked for a better way of marquez losing..he was hurting juanma a lot, didnt get dropped, and had to bail due to an injury...props to both, but i think as grown men we can all agree that tony weeks saved juanma in that round...maybe not from being ko'd (as juanma was pretty fresh), but maybe from a knockdown that could've possible changed the tide in the fight......weeks ****ed up bad IMO and took a point away at the wrong ****en time.....

    you ricans gotta give marquez his dues though...for being that old and war torn, he almost took out your biggest prized fighter last night....

    didnt think juanma was hitting behind the head or anything. rafa kept ducking low. makes it hard to get a square shot on. buts its coo. didnt make a big difference in the end.
