If Froch beats AA on points or KO it will be

    Ward 6
    Froch 4/5
    Abraham 3
    Johnson 3

How do they rank Abraham and Johnson because if Abraham is placed 3rd we will have a rematch.

If Abraham wins it is Abraham vs Johnson and Froch vs Ward.

Froch doesn't has the nice and appealing option that AA has : Johnson. So he might prefer AA again. He has to win and he get's AA again. Losses or Draws and he gets Ward.

Well If Froch wins AA and Johnson will the on the same points, so it depends how Showtime split them. I heard something about Scorecards being added up and there being a sort of goal-difference type thing.

Then, does Johnson get Kesslers cards or is it just based on the 8 rounds against Green.

If this is complete bollocks please tell me.:huh

Bute might not be an absolute certain to fight the super six winner. It could go tits up for him. In this 3 fight deal with showtime, the 3rd fight probably been against the super six winner, what happens if beforehand showtime decide to match him tough and make Bute v a fit again Kessler in Montreal early next year or in the summer. Bute would have serious problems with a fit Kesser i think.

Ward is set on 6 points now, Johnson is set on 3. Ward is guarenteed to finish top, So if Abraham wins, doesn't matter if its by points or KO he will fight Johnson, as a loss for Froch leaves him on 2 points and therefore in 4th place fighting Ward. If Froch wins, again it doesn't matter by which method, he will be on either 4 or 5 points, therefore he would overtake Johnson and Abraham in the standings with 4 or 5 points and rematch Abraham who would finish above Johnson due to the fact hes was an original participant.

If Abraham wins the points would be:
    Ward: 6
    Abraham: 5 or 6
    Johnson: 3
    Froch: 2

If Froch wins the points will be as ellaineo has it,

1st fights 4th, 2nd fights 3rd so there is no incentive for either man not to win...

Not a chance. He didn't fight those rounds and he didn't win them. Same thing as Kessler point. Would be outrageous to give Johnson , Kesslers rounds. A possibility can be the percentage of rounds won/fought , or jump to the next thing.

Bute beats the currently faded Kessler.More troublesome would be Dirrell.

I agree it wouldnt be right but the way this tournament has gone then nothing will surprise me.

I like the idea of a percentage of rounds won.

If Showtime had any sense they would say forget the scores: the winner of Froch/Abraham gets Johnson and the loser gets Ward. It's fairer and more interesting for the fans.
