why? If lopez claimed he had an injury you all would've said he faked it.
lopez showed he could fight back when he got hurt and marquez was bending down to much to avoid lopez's hook and made lopez look like he was hitting behind the head on purpose, no one was fighting dirty it was just a war. weeks didn't save nothing cause lopez recovered way before that. lopez won with no excuses.

FREDDYYYYY, FREDDYY.... Some things never change. Always a sore loser, & always crying. I've been the first one to critizice JuanMa b4 for his mistakes and the way he's looked in recent performances, but you've got to give credit where it's due. It was a tremendous performance by JuanMa & there's nothing Marquez could've done to win last night. Funny how most ppl that hated on Cotto 4 taking a knee don't say anything now when Marquez did the "DLH MOVE" AKA as "The Mexican No Mas." This was a no win situation 4 JuanMa, except 4 the payday, of course. You didn't need to be Nostradamus to know the haters were going to come out full force next morning, right Freddy??
As to the ppl that dared to mention Calderon, just think about it.... how many mexicans did he defeat b4 being beat by 1? I'm pretty sure the answer is A LOT, since that joke of a division is full of them... lots of little people down there :yep... ANYWAYS, this month is beginning to shape as a disaster for mexicans in boxing... 1 gone in humilliating fashion, 1 more to go next week, this one being a cheater.

Marquez is not done like many are saying... He poses a lot of threat in this division. Juanma was clearly the stronger and better guy. And once again the numbers dont lie:lol:

You could keep that Luevano guy out of these numbers, but I do know Marquez and DeLeon are born Mexicans. And could we get some of the Chicano names that have beaten Ricans born in the island for title fights???

No my friend it was pure boxing skills, but clearly was slowing down as he move up and age. Marquez is not done and still has the abilities to become champ again. What people say doesn't matter, I know thousands were saying Manny was in the down slope after his Marquez fight and guess what he is doing now. They only count the ones they want:lol:

The truth about this rivalry is that Mexicans always go all out.
Puerto Ricans take a knee & quit when in deep waters.
Mexicans rather go out on their shield & thats what i respect the most. :deal

Marquez was old & almost took out Lopez who indeed has a suspect chin.
Calderon was old and had zero impact on Segura.

Its a hell of a rivalry but Mexicos greatest fighters surpass any of the best Puerto Rico has ever produced.

Example: Chavez alone is greater than anyone of P.R best ever. Then you have Sanchez,Barrerra,Morales,Marquez,Montiel,Ricardo Lopez the list is long. Trinidad was probably the nicest from P.R then Gomez,Cotto,Calderon now Lopez.

Most of the greatest fighters & fights ever produced have been by Mexican/Mexican American & African Americans. :deal

    Memerable fights Tapia/Ayala,Barrera/Morales,Gonzales/Carbajal
Vazquez/Marquez,Corrales,Castillio its just really not close.:deal

Cubans & Phillipinos are now on the rise to challenge & is great for boxing. :bbb

It's all an opinion, but the numbers don't lie. Chavez was good, but has ??? in fights such as Taylor and Whitaker. Did Chavez ever fought out of his comfort zone or did he always fight in Mexico and in the West Coast???
