IMO he would have beaten dawson more convincingly the first time they fought, ko'd cloud and had the prospect of stopping almost every1 in the super 6 as it stands now i could see ward beating him but the winner of froch-abraham would be a close fight against the road warrior

froch has no footwork and his power is overrated glen would walk through allot of his punches dawson and cloud hit harder then froch, abraham doesnt move that good either you need to have great footwork and movement to beat johson

You are such a ****...Glen Johnson was struggling with Clinton Woods years ago. He´s not the beast you´re making out and he´s noway near the puncher to make that sort of claim.

This just confirms how **** Green actually is, any of the super 6 except maybe Taylor would beat Johnson handily today even if Glen was 25

    Are you having a laugh?

5-6 years ago Glen Johnson was struggling with the likes of Clinton Woods. As I said on another thread he's a bit of a hero of mine, but the long and short of it is he's only ever been 'gatekeeper' level, not genuine world class.

wow what a bunch of dickheads, the woods fights were really close, travoris cloud beat woods but many ppl thought johson beat cloud so whats your point, the fight should have atleast been a draw, stylistically i could see a 35 year old glen johnson beating both abraham and froch they lack footwork and frochs left hand is at waist length just like greens frochs power is overrated and abraham is a smaller man whos never faced any1 with the same kind of work rate as glen that said i think ward would beat him and maybe dirrell but there would still remains the prospect of glenn KO's both those guys dirrell more so then ward and please dont tell me johnson wouldnt have a shot a stopping taylor or the current kessler he'd lay waste to both those guys on his day

Johnson years ago couldnt beat Sheika, Vanderpool, Branco and Ottke at SMW and thats just what I can recall off the top of my head. It shows the division was much stronger years ago, but that wont show as you now have guys that are quite even fighting, but who wouldnt have lived with the fighters of 5 years ago in the division, as Johnson couldnt many years back

No it shouldn't have been and most people thought Cloud won. And can I ask what makes you think that Johnson would have KO'ed Cloud if he was 6-7 years younger? :huh

Allan Green is **** poor. Kudos to Johnson tho, he did well, especially at the weight.

Agree that Allan Green was poor again last night. It's a shame because he definitely has some good boxing skills he's just unable to use them in a boxing ring. Whether he has a problem making the weight could be an issue but he shouldn't be fighting at 168 then. His footwork and punches were awful last night. A 51 year old Glen Johnson would probably have been able to stop him.

Although I predicted that the Super Six would inevitibly prove to be a faliure and let down, even I wouldn't have imagined how big a farce it would have become...

Allan Green's inclusion was the moment when the tournement lost all credibility.
