Both fighters aren't exactly big punchers, and have both good chins. So there will be no crushing/pulverising of any kind. I expect Pascal to win it though, on a close UD.
Pascal has power but not the kind to put people in lala land. You notice that Pascal can get wild & Hopkins leads a little with the right hand but counterpunches for the most part. I'm not interested in seeing Hopkins complain but I do give him props for facing Jean Pascal. I hope he does put on a clinic then calls it a career.
Shame hopkins never had the stones to fight dawson. Hopkins has took this fight because he see's a flaw or two in pascals game.
thank you! I don't know where people get off acting like Pascal is that good. He has so many flaws where as Hopkins only flaw is his age. Even at 45, still see B-Hop schooling him. Pascal just isn't that good. Stylistically I think B-Hop is the worst matchup that Pascal could take.
He's facing the guy Daswon just lost so you can't be too mad. Think about it, Pascal will do everything in his power to make it into a fight so I much prefer Pascal/Hopkins over Dawson/Hopkins. Just thinking about how Dawson/Hopkins makes me tired. I mean Pascal fought smart against Dawson but he still looks to trade when he can and if Hopkins still has reflexes/great timing he should be able to capitalize. Should be an interesting fight. Lol good point that's why I said I hope. I knew he lost his mind when he wanted Haye. That old fart is crazy as hell lol.
