That's an insult to Harris. Vivian was a legit world champion. He's just old now. You could say that Green and the current, shot Harris are a lot alike though.

I felt like I was watching Jermaine Taylor fight Johnson tonight. It was eerie.

Harris was a legit fighter in his prime, Green has always been a hypejob, I'm glad he got KTFO, I wonder what excuse he'll coe up with now.

This thread is an absolute insult to Harris. Viv at one time was a title holder who managed to beat a few good figters(Hurtado, Urkal, M'Baye, Lazcano), and was a legit top 4 guy at 140 prior to the Maussa fight. Green is, was, and always will be a bum, and its been proven EVERYTIME he's fought a good fighter.

I can see a lot more relation to an old, shot Harris then anything with Jermain Taylor.

However, as others have pointed out, its not really fair to Harris considering at his best he was indeed a world champion.

No way. Harris was a world champion and beat some very good opposition. Green is comparable to the likes of Daniel Judah.

Two more fights and Allan Green will be the right now Vivian Harris.

Vivian Harris at his best actually had some pretty good skill, and actually fought.. too bad his chin was ****, and he broke down like a swap meet Chanel purse used for 2 weeks by a fat lady driving a Kia.

I really feel sorry for Green. After all he is just trying to make it in boxing. Young guy, very strong, decent boxer... just can't quite cut it at the elite level. I wish him the best... he showed some heart against Johnson.... took some monster right hands but kept trying

Agreed. Hopefully now Green will fade back into obscurity.

I gotta say, when I first saw him when he KOed Codrington I thought he was a dick and I couldn't wait to see him get served. More recently, I thought I'd give him a second chance, thought maybe he could do something vs Ward. After that shitty performance, I basically said "forget about this cat", and I hope we all do.

He has decent skills and talks a great game, but he just doesn't have any ability at ALL to execute. Shame.
