I've consistently picked Gamboa based on his hand speed. He's fast enough to take advantage of JuanMa's left hand hitch. Gamboa by stoppage.
Lopez. JML has been showing the intangibles in his recent fights. I haven't seen that from Gamboa, nor have I seen him be as explosive recently. I think JML will outlast him.
Hmm, but Lopez is a young fighter, he has improve since the Mtagwa fight, now compare that to Gamboa's latest fight which is not impressive.
Gamboa, he can outbox JuanMa. JuanMa has no defense and Gamboa's defense has looked great lately. His footspeed and head movement would allow him to get away from JuanMa when JuanMa tried to let his hands go, and even if JuanMa did try to trade, if he got caught and stunned which happens often to him, Gamboa would definitely finish him. The only thing that kind of worries me is JuanMa has a big size advantage. I still have to go with Gamboa.
I like Gamboa. He is a better boxer and his D is better. Juanma can end it with a combination, but, Gamboa is too smart to stand there and trade with Juanma
Do to the power both of this fighters have, ppl tend to think that the fight will end in a knockout, I'll say that is a good chance of that happening, but an UD is a sure bet, Gamboa is faster and a better boxer than Juanma, and that is what he will do, if he happens to hurt Lopez he may go for the kill, Lopez resiliance will keep him until the last round. For those ppl that are saying Gamboa hasn't show any heart, he hasn't needed, he has outclassed everyone of his opponents, including Mtgawa and Salido.
Gamboa will sweep the floor with Lopez, Speed Kills . Lopez has never seen that speed in any of his fights.
