  1. absolutely, of course a prime foreman good mentally 1972-74 who fought norton and frazier would **** douglas.

Douglas brings some very interesting things to the table in this matchup.

Namely very hard and crisp straight shots and height.

between those years he seemed unbeatable.the man had the same cloak of invincibilty that louis, liston and tyson wore.

Yup, he had the style to really trouble Foreman... especially this version of him.

Oh I agree, but if Foreman can't get to him in time I think Douglas wins this by decision.

Yup, thats why I chose this Foreman.

I think he was just as mentally fragile as Tyson was in Tokyo.

  9. for sure tommy, but still this foreman fought a war against lyle, he did show us that he could take a punch, and he had great heart. jimmy young knocked down george 1 second!!!! 1 second!!! because he was tired. george foreman could not be knocked out early. simply. and i can see douglas exchanging blows with him. buster douglas is overrated because he did beat a sad version of mike tyson. and still mike knocked down him . even 76-77 foreman would finish him. i would pick a man like larry holmes to beat this version of george 76-77. but definitely not buster douglas

    You really edited your post.
    Okay.

    1. That Tyson was not pathetic, he was just really slow compared to his former self, and was not conditioned or ready to fight a guy like Douglas.
    2. Douglas never beat an ATG? so now your saying Tyson was not an atg? what?
    3. To me Douglas would've given a hell of a fight to Young and probably would have beat the **** out of that Ali. 76' Ali was completely shot and would've been a punching bag for Douglas.
    4. Lyle may have been a good puncher and stronger but we don't really know for sure because he didn't knock anyone significant out, the best display of his punching power was dropping Foreman, and KOing shavers (but everyone did that)
    5. Holyfield may have beaten Tokyo Douglas but once again this is pure speculation. Tokyo Douglas was special that night.
    6. I think Prime Foreman would walk Douglas down and KO him but not the 76+ version. That version was way too inconsistent and really didn't impress me against Lyle.

    Foreman KO - probs EARLY.

Foreman was v.past-Prime after Zaire - BUT he still KTFO Douglas, Vegas Douglas, Tokyo Douglas, florida Douglas, Hong Kong Douglas, London Douglas, sydney Douglas, Berlin Douglas ETC ETC.

+ Foreman has IRON-Cheen so he can take Douglas's-Power And not get hurt. WHEN Foreman connect with a Haymaker it ''Lights Out'' glassy-jaw Douglas And if Lou-S KTFO Doug early, Foreman will IMO.
