Manny smaller then he was against CLottey??

    Something struck me in 24/7. Ariza said Pacquiao trained at 152-153 in preperation for Clottey (at welterweight).

    Pac right now is apparently walking around at 147-148 for a fight at junior middleweight. If that's true this is going to look like David and Goliath. If Pac can't put a dent into Margo with any of his punches, and Margo comes out fighting ultra-agressive, this is going to be a rough night for Pacquiao.

    And Margo looks in ****ing amazing shape btw.

    My understanding was Ariza had said Pac climbed the ring against Clottey at around 154. Makes sense to me as he looked considerably slower than against Cotto just a few months back. In training Pac was not happy at this weight with his speed and decided to not do Arizas excercises designed to build up weight.

    ^ He said Manny 'trained at' 153 pounds for clottey. Now he's at 147/148. He's gonna look really tiny at junior middle.

    Remains to be seen if all these are just for hype, or if it's at all true, how it affects Pacquiao.

    I can envision a scenario where Margarito throws PacMan around like a rag doll, but there's also the scenario where Pacquiao steels up a la Cotto-fight and takes all incoming like he's been a superwelter all his life.

    ^ one things for sure Margo's not gonna shell up and let Pac pound on him. He's a guy who will throw punches non stop for 12 rounds. And if MAnny is there to be hit, I can def see him wearing Manny down.

    150 is too big for Manny anyway. He has no business in this weight class.

    I too can't understand why in hell did his handlers allow the weight. For one, it wouldn't be to his advantage in any case. Two, it would be fodder for some criticism. Eighth weight title isn't going to cut it, not much weight fighting for a "vacant" title as it is.

    ^ Yep they should have just had the fight at 147. Margo has fought there his whole career anyway. It doesn't make a lot of sense.

    Good God people. The man wanted to win another world title at a higher weight division. His choice. It ain't like their fighting at 154. :patsch

    Margo looks good in these montages. But he looked slow as hell and painfully bad in his last fight. And as the fight went on he only got slowed. Pac will win. It's just a question of whether get gets the stoppage.

    There are three reasons in the mind of roach why this fight makes sense

    1) Margarito was knocked out by Mosley does get hit alot there for he might be there for the pickings...

    2) Roach beleives or atleats Hopes that Margarito did cheat his entire career


    3) Roach beleives that 150 will hurt Margarito so why not another catch weight fight....


    What happens if he is wrong tough?
