Thinking of Edwin allways gives me the chills. You just knew that hes power was not overrated. Had hugea heart in the ring as well.
I guess his brother cant let him go yet and wants to keep his legacy up and picks up where his brother left off.

I don't know what's in the Valero genes, but those mother****ers fight angry.

It's a similar feeling I get when I think of Salvador Sanchez. Obviously the way Valero went out was by his own hand and he has a negative light cast over his memory, but it's still this feeling of, "What could have been?"

The nearest we can have to see Edwin fighting again, I hope he has the power and the skills of his late brother.

That's crazy. He looks and boxes just like him. He seems to have almost identical power as well. If he trains hard and gets a good trainer, I could see him going far in boxing.

I was a big fan of Edwin before his untimely demise, so I'd be very pleased to see his brother do well.

    Looks very interesting.
If he's even 70% of what his big bro was (in the boxing ring, i.e.), he should have a real chance to get some really good fights after a while. What's even better, is that he won't have the same problems as Edwin with getting fights in the US (that whole head injury thing).
Hope he's not rushing into things, though. He's only 22, and I guess it would be easy to ride the wave of popularity his bro created and try to sate that hunger after a new Edwin. Hopefully, he's got good people around him to keep him grounded.

I'll be watching his career with great interest. Good post.

His brother was the greatest rise in a young phenomenom I've seen, along with Manny Pacquiao.. although I first watched Manny against Ledwaba.

Is he a reincarnation of Edwin?
