Please, Audley, try to give me some kind of challenge This content is protected David Haye 08.11.10 This content is protected The hard work is all done now. My training is complete, sparring ended last week and I couldn't feel fitter or healthier. Connecting with Audley Harrison's chin will be the easy part. You spend months preparing for a fight and, more often than not, the end result comes about in a matter of minutes. I know this will be the case on Saturday night, too. Audley has had plenty to say about my training camp, knockdowns in sparring, and other alleged distractions. However, I have remained silent on his own shenanigans. The reason being? I couldn't care less how he is preparing or what he is doing. No amount of training is going to prepare Audley for what is about to confront him. Even if he had knocked out a prime Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis in sparring for this fight, he still wouldn't beat me. Audley needs to speculate and invest hope in false rumours in order to build his own hollow confidence. I don't function the same way. I don't need to hope Audley comes in out of shape or comes off a bad camp. I want Audley to have enjoyed the best camp of his career. I hope and pray he is better than ever and has knocked out countless sparring partners in the gym. I want him to give me something to at least think about on Saturday. If Audley turns up and is simply Audley, then this fight ends quickly and embarrassingly for him. For the sake of British boxing fans, please Audley, give me some kind of challenge. We know you're a master of talking a good fight but, at around 10pm on Saturday night, you're finally going to have to fight one. If you are unable to do that, I'll have you talking nonsense in a brand new language within a matter of minutes.
i see audley getting saved by the ref for taking too much punishment, and then afterwards audley will say he was fine to carry on and we'll never hear the end of it, wait an see!
wow sounds like he has changed! i've met haye 3 times, first time he was a cruiserweight prospect and i met him at bluewater, i was one of the few that recognized him and he was so happy that i knew who he was, he started talking to me and it was like i couldn't get him to shut up! i met him again i think 2 years ago at stratford, we talked for a bit and he offered to buy me a drink so we could carry on our conversation, i was running late so i had to decline! and recently a few months ago i met him outside repton boxing club, we spoke for a bit and parted ways.
Hi Guys!..My bet..Round 3 @ 9/1 Rounds 4..5..6..@10/3 Haye to KO Harrison. Feel Free to pick what you think.
I'm defo expecting it to be over before 9 minutes, people dont change and Audley will come out the awful frightened fighter he often is. And at this level he'll just pay the price immediately.
The power of self-promotion is something I value highly and I'm a big fan of devices such as Twitter, Facebook and the various iPhone apps as means of 21st century communication. I've been an internet junkie for years now and am always checking out the various boxing websites in the lead up to my own fights. I get a lot of amusement and insight from reading the comments and thoughts of fans, and will no doubt be scanning the boxing forums in the final hours before my next fight on November 13. My go-to forums are eastsideboxing.com and boxrec.com, as they both keep me smiling in between rigorous training sessions. David haye Anyone know what username the real david haye have on eastsideboxing?
