if Hide at least had jumped out of the ring Cintron style or something then maybe he would have won the event. but the flat dive he took was just bad

 

Well what casual boxing Fans thought about that after the Fight? i bet they had Vitali as winning the Fight and The event.

this, hide in my opinion at best he won 1/2 rounds, vitali was schooling him. He should have just run for two rounds still would have been easy night.
I think because vitali has a k1 background thats the reason he quit. In k1 people dont care much about losses. if you win its great if you lose then better luck next time. atleast that way topguys figh eachother. he probably thought it was the same in boxing and it backlashed hard on him and his rep. Vitali strikes me as a guy that thinks highly of his reputation and beats you up over an insult etc. so it must have really hurt him to get such a negative response. thats why ever since he has been a pure warrior. its only that fight in which he quit.

Little difference, Hide didn't get cut by a gracing shot, he got KO'd by one.
Herbie Hide is a harder hitting, quicker and ballsier version of Haye.

I miss Hide, why couldn't Haye be more like him?!

if it werent for the fight ending punches, vitali would have lost on points.

 

You know, I really wish they would not have stopped the fight with Leiw-Vitali. Because we would not be seeing fights like Vitali-Briggs or Sosnowski. And the reason is because Vitali would never box again. You idiots seem to forget that his face was about to literally come off. They even gave his 2 more rounds to get it together and it only got worse. And Lewis was just starting to come on in the last 2 rounds. Imagine 5 more rounds...Vitali's face would have been beyond repair after that and he would not be alowwed to box again.

 

Hide definitely had this event in the bag.
