Im looking for a thread that was written a couple of months ago. Someone posted a thread full of Haye quotes with dates on. The quotes all contradicted themselves. Does anyone know where it is?

Wlad has never beaten the number 2 guy in the division. He was given The Ring belt on a shitty exemplary ruling, but he's not lineal champ. Until lineage has been restored, there is no "THE champ".

as i said the exact same criticism is applicable to wlad. neither wlad nor haye ever beat the true beltholder.

but we are on about the abc belts.

as for wlad being the champ, as much as i agree with it, there is the argument that he hasnt yet beaten vitali nor haye so isnt undisputed.

no one said wlad was undisputed champ. but he is looked at as the recognized heavyweight champion. vitali was retired for 4 years and only has held the wbc belt over the last 10 years....while wlad has had over 15 or 16 heavyweight title fights, plus unifying belts against ibragimov and beating chagaev who was the current wba champ
wlad has held a heavyweight title 8 out of the last 10 years
wlad has held heavyweight titles as long as haye has been a pro
    that makes him the champ

all of what you said is true.

but the fact still remains that the same belt criticism used on haye, can also be applied to wlad. it is a fact that wlad never beat the true champ.

as for vitali, well his injury has really damaged his llegacy, he will always be a "what if" fighter.

im not implying whatsoever that haye is better than either klitschko. he isnt. but to call haye a paper champ because he never beat the true champ, is hypocritical unless you apply it to wlad.

lewis. then after he retired it should have been vitali.

as unfortunate as it is that these fights have never, and won't ever happen, and as dominant as wlad has been in the last 5 years, he still never beaten the legitimate champ.

and that is the criticism that gets thrown at haye. that he never beat the true champ.

what he has done at hw aint out special, but it aint worthy of the criticism it gets, just as it aint worthy of the talk he gives.

    there is a middle ground.
