juanma just needs to fight caballero, shut him up then move on to bigger and better things. its the perfect scenario. YG vs. CJ and JML vs. CC.....winners face each other for a big payday and bragging rights lol!

 

Juanma already said that he cant wait to shut Caballero's mouth but the money isnt there. I really hope he fights Cab in March but if he doesnt I am pretty sure theyll fight after June.

 

I've wanted to see a Caballero/JuanMa fight for some time now. However, it's pretty clear that the fight won't happen anytime soon; if ever. If you just read the comments coming from Arum and JuanMa, it's pretty clear that they have zero interest in a fight with Caba.

I find it hard to believe that JuanMa wouldn't make more money fighting Caballero than he did by fighting Mtagwa, Conception or Penalosa.

He might not make huge money but I'm sure it'll be comparable to what he would make aginst most other fighters in his weight class.

caballero is getting good air time on american tv. with a KO victory on the 27th people will know about him and a fight can be made. stylistically caballero is wrong for juanma because he will just out work and hurt him because juanma is so flat footed, thats the reason the fight isn't being made, its got nothing to do with money.

also caballero is getting old, he is 34 and is a fighter who relies on work rate, the older he gets the less he will have to give. i won't be suprised if juanma chooses to play the waiting game for a year, HBO should press for the fight once caballero finishes litzau.
