Teddy talking about getting inside in an Amateur fight is hilarious.. they don't score that ****.. and with those pillows it's hard to work inside.

    Round 3

Herring does well when he drops anchor and launches jabs with left crosses behind them, and lead left hands. When he gets a little too busy and starts throwing the left while moving laterally he surrenders some balance and gets rocked by the step-in left hooks of Freeman. Herring comes forward while Freeman hops on his toes and just waits to either loop shots around the high guard of the taller man or back up. Freeman finally starts straightening the shots up and working jabs and right hands. Herring isn't catching him on the way in, with his own arms straying a bit wider now. Herring blocks a 1-2, then roars forward with a hard combo to the padded temples that knocks Freeman into the ropes. Herring starts jabbing Freeman toward the corner but Freeman plants his feet and grabs Herring before they get there. A big Herring left hand is blocked just shy of landing on the head and scoring, with a nice reflexive parry by Freeman.

Herring took the last two at least.

Herring won, but if that kid can get a better trainer he has some pretty good skills at 17, some very veteran moves.. he's too cocky because of the headgear and pillows though.

    :nod

He might always struggle when giving up height and reach, though.

True, that's why I said he needs a good trainer.. raw skill though.

I liked both the guys, both are in good shape.

That's pure class by Preston, applauding the winner and nodding his assent. That, or he doesn't want to show any sign of being indignant and get his ass kicked by all those devil dogs.

Lightweight Andre Hunter is 6-6 and a high school student.

His opponent - Lance Corporal Heathcock Grant - is 9-3.

The theme in the blue corner seems to be short civilian kids whose balls have only recently dropped. :yep

    Round 1

Hunter is popping off quick flashy combos while coming forward. It's nice stuff, 1-1-2 upstairs and underhanded flurries to the body. Heathcock is getting completely out-generaled in the early going. Hunter is staying right in front, jabbing to set up all his offense and usually doubling the jab. Grant tries to lean down and slug a bit but is quickly backed off. Grant slaps a few left hooks up to the top of Hunter's headgear while backing up.

The female announcer just asked Teddy "Do you think Grant has a real advantage in height, being 4 inches taller?" :patsch GET BACK IN THE KITCHEN!

Holy ****. She just asked if Heathcock has an advantage in height being 4" taller. He's 4" taller. Does that mean he's taller? Holy ****ing crap.
