even now Holyfield would beat Haye
too bad he was robbed in the Valuev fight and Haye got the belt gifted later on..

Haye is already trying to get out of his mandatory fight with Chagaev and fight Holyfield instead. Haye had better focus on his fight with Harrison.

Holyfield is possibly the greatest Cruiserweight of all time and often in top ten lists for heavyweights too. ...Come on, man.

Holy wins at Cruiser. Holy wins at Heavy. Both one sided, easy, easy nights for him.

Why don't we wait until Haye actually achieves anything before making these comparison threads?

even IF they could have fought prime to prime... the fight would never happen... haye would talk ****... then hide behind "contract issues" like he is doing with the brothers

I hope Vitali goes ahead and knocks out the winner of Austin/Solis fight, then fights Adamek at Madison Square, New York, New York, USA ASAP. When Vitali fought Kirk Johnson at MSG years ago that fight was sold out even during a huge snow storm! Teddy Atlas predicted that Kirk Johnson would win with a one punch knock out, but Vitali knocked Johnson out in the second round. Larry Merchant; "The whale has been harpooned."! I will never forget that one!!!!!!! Vitali sold out at MSG, HBO knows it to!!!!!!! Vitali/Arreola was HBO's highest rated fight of 2009, HBO knows it to!!!!!!!

you really believe someone with haye's speed and power would lose ten out of ten vs holyfield? fair enough.

i disagree. maybe 6-4, 7-3 but not ten out of ten.

I think you are understating this. Holyfield would win 100 out of 100.

An ancient Holyfield was robbed against Valuev. Haye put in a worse performance against a worse version of Valuev, but managed to get a split decision. (Go figure. Gotta love the WBA, right?)

So Haye put in a worse performance than the horribly faded shell of Holyfield. Ouch.

Thinking that Haye could ever beat a prime Holyfield - or even be competitive? Insane.

Forget prime Holyfield, todays Evander would give Haye something to think about and did just as well against Valuev. Not even gonna entertain the thought of Haye vs. a prime Holyfield. It's self explanatory. Mismatch!

any version of Holyfield beats Haye from pillow to post any day of the week
What should David Haye even have to answer Holys inside game? nothing at all. Haye would get taken apart

Holyfield was, and is, just something else. An absolute beast in his time with some incredible facets that strangely enough go overlooked these days.

Holyfield all day every day with this one. I honestly think if they fought 30 times Holyfield would take all of them.
