ive heard this is on for dec, is it true? ding use to post on esb so it would be good if it is him, maybe he can talk about his thoughts on this upcoming fight
leapai not fighting cronje that would of been fight of the year if they went at it like their last outing
alex leapai is fighting darnell wilson at the gold coast 4/12/10. should be another good war..hope they dont stop it early this time!
Hope it's another good learning/development step for Leapai -but interesting choice of opponent. ....Wilson's a 36 year old, career cruiserweight who's lost 4 of his last 5, including to Green's next opponent, BJ Flores.
Smaller, very inactive fighter for Leapai. Hope they dont stop this prematurely...then again its in Qld so i expect it to be.
just watched him he has a power left hook and a better way of knocking out his opponents, leapai needs to bring his A game or i see lights out but saying that leapai to win.
Would rather a fair..non QLD ref thats all. The QLD based ones seem to love to stop Leapai fights prematurely.
That was a while ago. He's also (while he did have a good chin in his day) been hurt by cruiserweights.
Without wanting to get into an arguement there is only 2 refs here in Sydney that I rate. Time and time again we see refs here that seem hesitant to make the tough calls and stand by them. The Qld ref's, like them or not, make a decision and that's that. I've seen the local fighter get away with blue murder here and it dosen't bode well for visiting boxers.
These are some of the reasons why a neutral nationality ref i feel is best in the big bouts based here.
