brad vocale be the best ref, leapi needs to be weary of his left hook just like tua you never lose it and wilson not having to worry about his weight would most likely to put the power back in his hands, tua showed it in his fight against cameron

Heard that Vocale has tossed it in up in Qld.

Anyway, my best 3 in NSW and QLD not necessary in order.

    Lucas
    Soulas
    Dean

    Milham
    Marshall
    Austin

IMO Phil Austin is the best ref....he's on a top secret health plan and has lost 16kgs :admin

His new found mobility has thrust him to the top of the officials tree :yep

Those 3 in NSW you said i dont mind.

Cant believe you actually think Derek "Pro Mundine/WBA" Milham is good these days.
Steve Marshall makes Milham seem awesome. Marshall is 1 of my top 5 worst refs in the country.
Seen Marshall lose control in far too many bouts & his reaction time is often pathetic.

I dont agree with everything Phil Austin does with sanctioning some bouts as a part of the IBO, but as a ref no doubt 1 of Australia's best.:deal

Don't think Milham's work on amy Mundine fights have created any controversy, still rate him as one of the best we've had in recent years.

With Marshall, haven't seen him lose control of any bout myself, but you might have seen more of him than I have.

    Austin certainly knows his stuff.

Watch out for Soulas. I like his work.

Yeah fair enough besides Milham being "Pro Mundine" he does not bother me that much.
Many far worse than Milham...Marshall IMO is right up there with the also pathetic refs - Les Fear, Alan Moore, Cyril Cairns & Chris Anderson.
Brian McMahon i thought was not bad 15 years ago...but at his very old age he has gotta go also!!!:deal

Darnell does not have to cut drastic weight for the 1st time in his career. Call me crazy, but I say Darnell knocks out Leapai inside of 4 rounds.

That's a risky proposition. There are too many "ifs".

That could happen if Darnell carries his nice CW power up..and if that power pans out as equal to or greater than Travis Walker's for instance...and if he can land a money shot on Leapai before he himself gets hit...and if he can take the best punch of a 235lb man...and if the year and a half's layoff hasn't rusted him stiff at the age of 36...and if he can somehow look better than in his last two fights, where he looked dreadful...

i liked watching some darnell fights but agree he has bitten of more then he can chew, its going to be a good fight while it lasts though, both fighters can be hit pretty easily so it should be interesting

    Very true IB.

The less the boxing ability of the protagonists, and the greater the power they have, the greater the uncertainty of the outcome.

Usually a case of first in, best dressed.

Kegsy, you seem very happy to throw that word " pathetic ' around.

Whether I rate certain officials or not, it's not a word I'd use.

They have a bad night and we're all over them, they have a good night and they're forgotten.

I've been guilty myself but it's sure not a job I'd put my hand up for.

    By the way Kegsy,

How would you rate yourself as an official?
