Is Lucian Bute the Best 168lbs Fighter in the World?

OK but he was up before 10, the fight was over and he was leading the fight. Where is the problem.

 

1- Bute EASILY won at least 10 of the 11 first rounds in the Bute-Andrade I fight and he was DEAD TIRED in the 12th, needing to go toe to toe because he had no more legs. That happened because the fight should have been postponed. He managed to convince his team that he'd take care of Andrade, even suffering from SERIOUS ANEMIA, with a very low count of red cells in his blood !! He didn't want to cancel that fight for the 15 000 attending it. At no point in that 12th round did Andrade stagger Bute or hurt him. Bute was just a dead man walking and a gush of wind would have had more success to put him down prior to when Andrade did...

2- You can make a case for the referee stopping the fight in the last 30 seconds of the fight, before Bute went down, because he was just tossed around like a little doll, not able to defend himself. Once he went down, no matter how ******ed the referee looked to you, the FACT still is that Bute was up before 10 seconds with only 4 seconds left on the time clock when he fell, and per the IBF rules, that's all he needed to do to secure a W at that point.

What really confuses me with many people is that they just keep on going even when the facts smack them across the face. They can't say they're not provided with all the information they need...

It was the referee making sure there was no possiblility of the fight being able to continue . Referee clearly knew the round was very close to ending, but made sure by insisting Andrade go back to his corner , giving Bute a further 8 seconds to both recover and close out the round. I just didnt like what I saw , but knew exactly what was happening. He did this because his is from Montreal and made sure Bute had the extra time and he knows Bute very well from the previous fights he had refereed for him.

What's wrong with this site, Bute may be ONE of the best but clearly not THE best at SMW, why thread like this even exist? Does Bute already have a legion of haters like May, Pac an other good fighter?

You seem to be very well informed, Bute and this ref are close friends....:admin......

 

Look....you just need to acknowledge that if there weren't any referee in the ring when Bute fell to the ground...because of the FACT that he fell with only 4 seconds left and got up at no more than 8 seconds.....he wins ! End of story !!!

The referee looked bad and I will not defend his actions either but he doesn't change the facts and the outcome !!! Are we on the same page now ??

Since then , not one .

I wonder why?

Surprizingly, most of his fans tend to often see both sides of the coin and will also ***** about Bute when he doesn't fight or do things they consider he should, unlike most of the unconditional Mayweather or Pacquiao fans for instance that see no evil....no matter what
