If Pacquiao-Mayweather Never Happens, How Should Pac End His Career...???

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by BenjaminLinus, Nov 9, 2010.

  1. Pacquiao-Berto (Berto's sure to beat Hernandez)
    Pacquiao-Alexander/Bradley/Khan
Pacquiao-Marquez III @ 140 (a fitting way to close the books, methinks)

    Thoughts?

Move back down to 140 and settle the score with Marquez once and for all.

  3. It would be a one-sided thrashing with Pacquiao brutally knocking Marquez out and most likely retiring him. But yes, settling the score with an old foe is not a bad way to close out a spectacular career.

marquez 3 at 140 would be nice, but i really think pac will stop boxing i still see him fighting 3/4 times. he might be less hungry but boxing is still an important part of his life. also williams at 147/154 would be good.

I seriously think he would bust Williams up.

Go for the MW title. I think he beats either Martinez or PW. They arent that big. If he loses, no big deal either. Arum, Roach have mentioned fighting the winner of that fight so strong posibilty. It'll be a big ppv event too, the intrigue is there.

He can safely retire an ATG as he already is. Marquez wouldn't move up and Pac won't go back to lightweight.

I think he'd have a great chance of beating either Martinez or Williams.

It ain't gonna happen, IMO if he wins on SAT. He can go out like that.

  10. Marquez would meet Pac at Light Middleweight. One last pay day, but also because Marquez is a proud Mexican warrior.

  11. He might beat Williams, but I think Martinez puts a brutal beating on Pac. Martinez beats Floyd, too.

Take on Sergio or PW in the greatest challenge of his career, win or fail.

Even if he couldn't pull it off it would be the perfect conclusion to the career of a genuine all time great in our day and age.

For what it's worth I think he can pull it off.
