loyalty is dead my friend bar a few cases.Luke Lewis reneged on his verbal agreement to Souths a few years back too i think.peoples words are useless.in a way i can understand it.im a Dragons fan but we discarded a loyal player like Thommo when it suited us.sign of the times.

I thought Inglis wanted to be close to his GF in Brisbane?

I'm glad his still gonna be in League and not gone to France to play Union.

Apparently his GF's job isnt going all that well for her. No doubt Rusty will be able to set her up with something more enjoyable:yep

why would a player want to stay loyal to Melbourne? They should be pissed off at the club for screwing them over by cheating, and loyalty to Brisbane?

Round 1 against the scum is gunna go close to being a sell out I reckon.

thommo was a seperate issue, he was on the outer with a few players after what he done just before the 2005 semi, they needed to let him go for the sake of the team ..
i just dont get how clubs can think a deal is done without getting it signed, there should be clauses and everything and if he wants to leave make it come out of his own pocket...
the source of my anger? these guys are so talented and earn over half a mill a year and im stuck at a desk earning 700 a week talking about it... **** it id leave for more money too, anyone willing to offer 800?

Its actually quite good knowing that St Merge won a shortened version of the NRL. If Storm where in the semis they could very well have won the ****ing thing again.

Yeah true, props to you there mate. :good

What beats me is how all the journo's are against the deal. FFS, they should be glad that we're keeping him in the code. Funny how they didnt complain when he was going to Brisbane (another news limited owned club) :yep

What the signing will do, is put more pressure on our halves to perform. Sandow's just about ran out of excuses. He's been in first grade long enough now and needs to step up.
