Every A side needs a good B side. That's just smart business. So, his "advisors" realizing this early, as you say, is a good thing. Both Manny and Floyd benefited, in terms of PPV success, from their bouts with Oscar.

Prior to that, their PPV sales were marginal. But, Oscar has NEVER reached over 1.4 million buys against ANY fighter except Floyd, if memory serves. They marketed that fight masterfully. Floyd's mainstream popularity grew exponentially from that fight, and led to million dollar plus PPV's with Marquez and Mosley--two fighters who have never really been the A side of any PPV event.

Im talking about not fighting the midget for possibly the biggest fight in history (money wise). This was an easy fight. Shoot if Pac was talking about how easy Floyd was and then let Floyd fight Margarito instead while he takes vacation then I will have to call him a big ***** even if I didnt want to.
