People can respect Mayeathers talent all day, but deep down inside, most of them would sew his mouth shut if they could.

 

Well...people should've thought that. Manny was coming off of a war with 130lb fighter in JMM and impressive stoppage of an average fighter in David Diaz at 135. Oscar's reputation alone (though he was shot at this point) placed the odds squarely in his favor. Not to mention, Pac NEVER fighting above LW, did not help. It's not the best fight to try to market...and they should've known full well that was the case. But, the fight served its purpose. The same purpose it served for Floyd, Tito and Mosley. Oscar was the CASH COW...period. Floyd has carried that torch pretty well, IMO. Manny has done quite well also. Numbers don't lie though, and Floyd has generated almost double the PPV revenue of Manny, having been involved in 4 fewer PPVs, up this point.

Regarding your question, Floyd generated about 325,000 with Baldomir...

I am a Pac fan for his work and skill inside the ring, that alone and nothing else.
Being a fan doesn't stop you from using your brain. They are not perfect super heroes that are to be followed blindly. Unless of course you are still a kid or have a brain of a child.
