this fight will be a one-sided bashing. i know of nobody who is buying it. i like watchin danny fight, but against people of the same level, not c grade fighters who have been inactive for 15 months...look at Flores' record, its a list of absolute nobodies. lets face it, danny is in the entertainment industry, not the boxing industry. he wont fight the best. he should take a leaf out of katsidis and darchinyans books

Where was it originally said that it would be shown on any version of ESPN in the US?

 

I knew they were in negotiations to show the fight, Flores stated this a few times.
I never heard it being confirmed...until Hyder said it in that interview.
They may still be negotiating coverage whether that be live or delayed.

 

That's great news if it comes off.

As of right now there's no boxing scheduled on any version of ESPN (either the TV channels or streaming on ESPN3) until the Friday Night Fights premiere in January...so it's not even like he could have been referring to highlights being screened on an existing card (which they did on FNF for Green-Jones). Very strange.

 

You dudes who believe Green will blow away Flores may be in for a little surprise.Flores can fight and has skills.The inactivity bothers me but I still believe he will give Danny a good tussle.:good

I've yet to see anything from Green that shows me he is in the same class as Flores. (I've only seen his work against Briggs, Jones, Siaca, Mundine, and Beyer but that's his best competition to date. What am I missing?)

 

From what I see of Flores he has solid boxing skills and a fast jab....I'm thinking Flores will out box green most of the rounds.

He has a huge reach advantage and knows how to use it by boxing off the back foot. He also has nice kit of counter punches to use if green gets lazy coming in.

I sure hope danny can catch him early and often to stop him....I will be cheering on Danny every punch.

End of the day If this fight was in the tipping comp I would pick a Flores win by 3
rounds.....if Danny gets the win I will give him huge props :deal

I just don't see how most people on here see this as an easy fight :huh
