How am I English when I was born in and lived my whole life in Ireland and my blood is 50 percent Irish?
I bet if you had the mental aptitude to research your own family tree you'd find some English blood along the way. The Irish are a mix of many tribes including Anglo Saxons. This fact probably pains you and your initial reaction is to dismiss it out of hand but the Irish are not a ethnically pure race no matter how hard the fascists of Sinn Fein would like to believe it.

My English parent traveled the world before settling down late in life in Ireland. (You should try traveling, it might broaden your horizons, limited by your tiny brain of course).
They knew nothing of Northern Ireland and cared less as they had a life to lead.
The fact is, most English people don't give a toss about Northern Ireland and all the crazies from either side of the divide. The English would gladly give Northern Ireland back as it is nothing but a drain on their finances.

Sad to say but nobody wants anything to do with the North, it's more trouble then it's worth.
