Anyone know how big this ring is going to be on Saturday. My guess is that Arum puts them in large one so that Pacman can utilize his speed and footwork. My theory on Pacs "Poor sparring sessions" has something to do with ring size, and also a little to do with boredom.

Are they going to use reyes gloves or is Nike going to manufacture some mitts that benefit Pacs style?

I am looking forward to this fight although I doubt Marg is going to be able to wear down Pacman because Pac is going to be hard to find. If Paul Williams was able to put it on Margarito with his marginal defensive ability imagine what an agile, technically skilled boxer with power will do.

ps anyone know what the undercard looks like?

I think ring size will make a difference, as Pac will have more room to move around.....
    As far as the undercards:
    they are listed here

Or we could ask Margo's sponsors to manufacure some bricks to benefit his style?

I think Paul Williams is a poor comparison yes Manny has the same work rate but williams was also taller and similar in size and could handle Margos physical strength

manny is much shorter and smaller all he really has going for him is speed and work rate

I hope to God they are using 8oz Reyes gloves.

And how would one manufacture gloves to help Pacman's style?

:deal - Yup, if it's over 147, it has to be 10oz (unless Texas has some weird set of rules that other SACs don't).

It's supposed to be 10oz at welter, too, but there's an exception clause that says 8oz can be used if both fighters agree.

I heard that they will decide on 8oz or 10oz in the next few days. I know what the rules are, so I hope it will be 80z :good

I just checked (it's always better to use facts than talk nonsense, right?), and it looks like you might be right.

The relevant bit is Chapter 61 of the "Administrative Rules of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation", Section 106.

    Interestingly, subsection D reads:

So, in Texas, according to that "may", it looks like you can use 8oz above welter, and 10z is used by mutual consent. This is different from Nevada and Cali, as far as I know.

Pac's eyes are not right. They look like Tyson's before the Douglas fight.

If he loses we will know why.

that's only in Nevada. Everywhere else in the world, Welter uses 8oz.
