    One thing for sure is that Rafa was connecting with some solid shots on JuanMa and IMO the Rafa that beat Vasquez would KTFO the JuanMa that beat Ponce de Leon!

    The Ponce de Leon fight lasted like 1:30 minutes I cant make an appreciation with such a short fight. The Penalosa fight maybe?

    watch the fight again, juanma recovered befor the ref stop the action, rafa wasn't going to ko juanma and juanma showed in his fight that it would a lot of punches for him to get ko'ed. Juanma was buzzed for a whole round with matagwa and he still made it through. Stop crying already. Isn't it wednesday? Cry me a river.

    That's logical, when you're old you loose your reflex and punch resistant, are you going to be brave when you know you can't take those punches and to know you done all your accomplishment?

    This is why Marquez says something like this.... it legitimizes the loss in the minds of his Mexican Fanboys... they are more blinded by their racial / nationalistic biases than the Black floyd fanboys on here.

    He was out on his feet, against Mtgawa, the only reason they didn't stop that fight was, because he is the star fighter, if the shoe was in the other foot, I will bet anything, that the ref would had stopped the fight, Mtagwa is not a big name, that is the only reason Lopez still undefeated.

    Against Rafa in the 4th round he was hurt, I don't know if Marquez could had been able to ko him or not (Juanma is very resiliance), he had the time to do it, but Weeks intervention help Juanma recup, no question about tha either, so yes we have some controversions, and I'll not mind seeing those two get it on again.
