I really want the Pac vs Mayweather to happen so I am hoping for Pac's PPV number to be close to Mayweather's to justify a 50-50 split or it's too far off that a 60-40 or even a 70-30 in favour of Mayweather will be fair. Bottom line, I want the purse split to be a non-issue next time they negotiate the fight.

Manny's had more press for this fight vs Margo than Mayweather's ever had. Most press I've ever seen a boxer get in my life. If he doesn't put the Mayweather vs Mosley numbers to absolute shame with this fight than there's something wrong.

Pac is about to be the fighter with the most PPV buys 3 years in a row.

In terms of PPV buys, 2008, 2009, and 2010 are all Pacquiao years.

All he has to do is break 700K against Margarito.

Still, in recent years, Pac has the most PPV sales of all fighters. 2008, 2009, and soon to be 2010.

When it's all said and done, Pac will end up the bigger PPV star of the two.

If you compare the average for all of their ppvs, Floyd's fights are worth nearly twice of emmanuel's.

Who's problem is that? surely not Pac's.

Bottom line, at the end of the year Pac with have had the most PPV buys 3 years running.

Overall yall are correct. However, if you look at the numbers carefully you can see that both Mayweather and Pac are nothing until they meet Oscar. The PPV between Oscar and Floyd imo, is a case of being at the right place at the right time. The real estate market was still booming and it wasn't until the end of 2007 that alarms were going off and it came crashing down.

Anomalies aside, taking out the extreme highs from both guys, their numbers are pretty similar. Imo, neither guy is going to meet another Oscar until they decide to face each other so who has more PPV's is rather moot.
