According to sources Shane Mosley will be signing with TOP RANK PROMOTIONS for the rest of his career. Prepare for some in house fights people. If Pacquiao vs Mayweather does not happen in May then prepare for Pacquiao vs Mosley! SMDH!:huh
What are the sources? Makes sense though, there are a lot more fights for him at 147/154 at Top Rank, and we all know he's not really a "partner" at GBP.
arum is signing a shot mosley. well he can always make cotto-mosley2 for those who thinks mosley still has something left and just fought bad styles match-ups in floyd and mora.
good gbp treated him like a ***** hell they offered marquez a floyd fight before him and kept him inactive for a long time he used to get the high risk low reward fights such as mora and how the hell you gonna put a man that looked bad against mayorga against margo when he was looking like a beast? (even though mosley won) they were willing to sacrifise him hopefully bobfather looks after him
Wonder if that means Oscar will break his silence on Shane's use of PED during their rematch? I for one would still be pissed about it to be honest, particularly as I did not get the deserved decision, then again, does Oscar even care about his honour anymore?
The only thing wrong that GBP did was that they gave him the Mora fight. He got a fight with Mayweather, a fight with Margarito(who was a top dog at the time) and was gonna fight Andre Berto (much hyped world champ). He says he's not getting the big fights or the fights he wants, but he has and he proved he's not good enough anymore.
He surely isn't going to make the same sort of money at Top Rank as he did with GBP? If that's the case this move is all about furthering his legacy when his legacy doesn't need to be furthered at the risk of his own health. He hasn't exactly got a brain friendly style.
If this is true, I really hope Arum won't be using him as future opponent for Manny. I'd like to see him against Cotto, though.
I believe he is. I also believe he has stock in GBP. A thread earlier dealing with his apparent departure from GBP also said he would maintain said executive role and stock.
