Shane dislikes golden boy because they had him throwing away the fixed fight and gave him a little extra cash. all the stick he got after the fight busted his ego up and now he continues for legacy!
But in all seriousness, shane should think about retiring.

Bob Arum needs to make these matchups:
    -Pacquiao vs Mayweather/Marquez 3
    -Cotto vs Margarito 2
    - Mosley vs Clottey

Boxing is a sport. Sport is entertainment. If all fighters fought like Mora there would be no boxing. Therefore fighting like Mora shouldn't be rewarded in anyway shape or form. Mosley was robbed.

If this happens, you can pretty much guarantee Shane will get a fight against either Pac, Cotto or Margo.

He's coming to the end of his career and if he feels this move will help him get another couple of big fights, then good luck to him.

I think Shane should always fight at 147 but if he fights at 154, I think a re-match with Cotto makes perfect sense.

This. How many of his precious last years did they waste? The man should have been fighting two times a year not once every other year.

Not so sure there's a market for this matchup.

Why when he's part owner in GBP. Which would make him more money. If its the Pac fight he wants i'm sure they can do that anyway if arums money is right. Its not as if only top rank has fighters he can take on.

If this is true it's a big deal. It signals that there are some serious internal problems within GBP.

I had a naive fantasy when GBP was created that they could reinvent the sport. Put all of the big names in a single organization and create the clout needed to finally regain control from the sanctioning bodies. Well, that didn't happen. Maybe Showtime can leverage their tournament strategy into a permanent organization.
