I've read an interview with Bute:

"I've spoken with Interbox leaders, and I wanted in the Showtime contract to be included a clause that will allow me to box in Romania , in case of these being possible. I have taken this risk because I want really bad to fight in Romania.Those from Showtime and Interbox accepted my wish. These time we will not go on empty promises , we will not wait. If nothing will be obtain I will fight in Montreal or Quebec.

Friday, in Las Vegas I was invited by the TV channel Showtime and I signed a contract for my next 3 fights and

(whatever that means). Showtime has under contract the best fighter at my weight class , everybody knows the Super Six tournament. When I was under contract with HBO I couldn't fight with these guys. These was one of my objectives , to be able to fight the winner of the Super Six , and hopefully these will happen at the end of next year. I want to prove to everybody that I'm the best at Supper Middleweight.

He mentions that financial he is very happy , and the purses are bigger that what he had until now
He is fighting on 12 March but doesn't know against who, and will leave for a training camp in Florida or Puerto Rico :huh in January
He's gonna keep boxing 3-4 years more after he unifies the belts ..not thinking about retirement.

OK, so Martinez is with HBO, Bute with Showtime. What's it gonna take to see a fight between them? An HBO - Showtime deal? Don't think so.

 

Martinez is an HBO fighter like Bute was... 1 fight at a time.I don't think he has multiple fights contract.But he is loyal so that might still be a problem
