Pretty much any time any classic poster puts up a non-classic thread on classic, the real motive is that they want to talk non-Classic boxing without subjecting it to full-scale ******ation. Am I wrong? Like any time I see "Classic forum's take on (X current boxing topic) that's all I'm thinking is "Please don't make me go to the general forum to discuss this."

My take, Margarito is a proven cheater. Allowed his manager to load his gloves up. That's pretty cowardly actually. What do you expect? They let him back in the game so live with it. He's a ****ing scumbag. No news there. Freddie Roach being a dick in general to Pac's opponents doesn't excuse it. Margarito is what he is. Don't put a dress on a pig and bring it in your house and not expect it to drop a duece in your living room. Live with it Bob Arum. No outrage or sympathy here.

Classless but I have to admit I laughed watching, its trash talk and head games, did he go too far, probably, he was joking, if Roach was an ESB Lounge poster he'd probably get ripped on in the same way

It doesn't speak well of his character for sure. You'd think a professional boxer would know best not to make fun of Roach's condition, considering some of the greatest boxers ever paid the same price.

I don't think a bad attempt at a joke deserves as much attention as it's getting though. It shouldn't have been filmed and distributed in my opinion, unless it was done on the acceptance of Margarito and his camp. Some things are best forgotten, and this is one of them.

Roach problably doesn't give a rat's ass...But you can rest assured he wants to win very big on Saturday. That's all he's thinking about. He has been around the block way too many times to let anything bother him that anybody says...What he wants is the last word at the post-fight after the result.

You are correct . This is like a club within a club ... I never go on the non-classic forum ... I know that it annoys some members and that is why I only do so before a major fight but I also feel it serves a purpose .. I like to see who is willing to back their claims on events taht actually have yet to unfold .. it ups their legitimacy ...

I agree .. in addition if Freddy is going to be so sensitive he should watch his own mouth .. just because he's riding a golden goose and has awards up the wazoo does not give him the right to lecture on a soap box .. lboxing is a dirty business filled with unsavory characters , nothing new ..Let him train Manny, count his own millions earned, be happy for winning the lottery and mind his business.

I think most of Roach's talk is for fun and to hype fights. I haven't seen him say anything outrageously bad although he has gone below the belt a few times.

He shouldn't be exempt from criticism, but I don't see why his condition has to be brought up. There are plenty of ways to criticize the man without lowering oneself to such depths in an attempt to get at him. Even the Mayweathers, classless as they may often be, never publicly made fun of his Parkinson's. It's the price Roach has paid for a tough career, and isn't really a joking matter as it can face any unfortunate boxer who fights on too long.

Bad taste but then again, if you don't mind loading your gloves then there isn't really any barrier on what is right and wrong..

I think it was very classless , esp' being a boxer himself and his style it could very well happen to him. He def' knew about the loaded gloves and is a scum bag for it.
